Squads: teamwork with the split agreed up front
Zainab Musa · Published · 3 min read
A squad is a small team — a designer, an analyst and a video editor, say — that takes on work together. The lead sets a payment split that must total 100%, and every member can see it.
When a client funds a squad milestone, the money sits in escrow. When they approve, the doer share is divided by the split and lands in each member’s wallet in the same moment. No chasing the lead for your cut.
The split locks while funded work is in progress, so nobody can change it mid-project. Squads also get a task board, a chat room and shared files.
